Hello all! As you have seen on my social media pages, Facebook and Instagram, I am hosting a Bootcamp class at Midwest Health and Fitness on Sunday, October 1st 8:30am-9:30am to collect donations for the people affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma. Whenever tragedy hits, I feel compelled to help out in some way, but I never know where to start. This time, after seeing the devastation of flooded streets, evacuated families, and now homeless pets, I decided to create an event, stick to what I know, and help the people in Texas and Florida.
This event is very important to me, because it's an example of why I named my company "ActivUs". I created the company with the idea in mind that all of us can work together to help and support one another through an active and fitness based community. Connecting myself and other people through activities, fitness, dance, and other forms has been the driving force behind my motivation. We work together to meet your goals. Active + You + Me = ActivUs.
The Bootcamp class that I will be teaching will respect and challenge all fitness levels. You do not have to be a frequent gym-goer to take this class! I wanted to have people donate for a cause, but also get something in return. You bring a donation for GlobalGiving (non-profit) and I will help you sweat it out with some great music and great people. The gym has opened up this event to everyone interested, so you do not need to be a member of the gym to attend. Bring your friends and family and have some fun!

Thank you and I hope to see you at class!
